H Again,
Thanks to those that gave me advice on my Last Message...I Have another.
Whilst installing my Newest PSU. I noticed, next to the 24. Pin Socket on the Motherboard. There is a 4.Pin(Small pins)exposed.IE. Not in a Casement as the other Sockets that I HAVE needed to use.Next to this 4pin block, there is a Notice of sorts. I Says 'Sys Fan'. Should there be a connection to it?. Or Just Left with the pins Sticking out of the Block. Thanks again.

Do you not have the original motherboard manual? You can Google your mobo type/model and find it online. These have all the information about the various on-board connections and how to use them. Ideally you should ALWAYS keep this manual with the PC - I tape mine inside the case so it's accessible anytime I'm in there!

You can find a number of these on the board, it's for a chassis fan (case fan) if the case has one.

You'll find:

CPU fan - most computers will shut down without
System fan - case/chassis fan
Fan 1, 2, etc - other fan headers if installed

You can get 3/4 pin headers for fan as some better fans have speed sensors fitted. :thumbleft:

As the name would imply, it is for a fan.
