I was logging into another forum earlier (Nothing to do with DIY, one of my other hobbies)
AVG popped up a flag that I had a "Threat blocked" (Trojan??)...
Anyway...just in case I'm on my old 'puter (Soooooooooo SlooooooooooW) whilst I run Mbam on the other..
Anyways, according to the AVG log it was....
process dgoxybrfgfzeshc.exe
according to AVG it's in quarantine..
Is this dangerous or what ?? I ought to let the other forums admmin know if it is.....
EDIT...MBam has already found 2 problems...and is barely started..Mbam was run on wednesday with 0 probs found...

The accusations......there was Mod6 looking though your recycle bin, in case you'd thrown anything out by mistake and he came across your credit card reports and the vast quantities of cash you'd spent on that site....
Only joking, he was up a tree watching you with high powered binoculars!!

I'd hazard a guess on a compromised ad server/banner that is out of their control. Goto the site again, you might not get hit - such is the nature of the beast.
If it's actually made it out of temp files and onto other parts of the machine, not so good - are you fully patched in OS and Browser?

I don't know what "Fully patched in OS and browser" means...
Though AVG did manage to quarantine the threat...And MBam seems to have removed it...Windows firewall did nowt..

What web browser are you using and are you using Windows?
Are you fully upto date with service packs and updates (Using Windows Update?). If you are using Internet Explorer, it'll be included in Windows Update.
If you are using Firefox, Chrome, etc, make sure they are the latest versions - you don't want to get caught short with vulnerabilities and exploits, not doubt addressed in the updates provided.
