Insulating bedroom floor and sloping roof.

Hi, one of my bedrooms is partly within the main building with the loft insulated above and the floor over the hall below but more than a third of it also goes over the garage and there is a sloping roof as part of the ceiling. The garage is particularly cold and obviously there is not much natural insulation where the sloping roof is so the room can be cold. There is a radiator on a wall over the main building of the house but it's not sufficient and I guess i am losing much of it's benefit. Can anyone recoommend any options for improving the insluation in the floor area over the garage and the sloping roof? Thanks very much, John :-)

Buy some insulated foil backed insulation.....like this.....
http://www.screwfix.com/p/airtec-double ... -25m/21112

Use a staple gun and overlap, use lon ceiling too.....

It's good stuff, but bulky......
