Previous neighbour is a pro builder and he commented that my roof showed him up as it was so neat. I think when it is your place you take that extra bit of care.
I did have an "Oh Feck" moment when I had thrown the last tile into the skip out the front of the house and stood amongst the wreckage of the two rooves and looked at the broken purloins and rotting wood and wondered what I had let myself in for.
