Mosaic tile help
So, tiling the shower at the minute and half way up I am tiling a 40mm mosaic boarder. I installed the first few strips last night, and oh my god it is messy. I have been using an 8mm trowel and back buttering the tiles below so needed to do the same with the mosaics to make them sit flush. Problem is, when I push the tiles on, the adhesive pours out the cracks. It took me an ages last night to scrap it out and clean it over, and over and over again. Surely I'm missing something here, as this doesnt seem like the way it should be done. What's the secret?

Re: Mosaic tile help
You can use something like this
http://protilertools.co.uk/tiling-space ... pacers-605
Or
http://www.tilefixdirect.com/index.php? ... 67ndm4d8xn
Or you pack out the mosaic area with adhesive first, flatten it, let it set and then fit the mosaics
