Thank you Post Office

Post by ayjay »

My son posted a Father's day card to me on the 7th June, 1st class from Pembrokeshire - it's not arrived yet.

Useless bunch of tossers.
One day it will all be firewood.

I don't know what goes on in your house b-a, but he wouldn't lie to his mum, if he told her he posted it then he did.

On average I have to post some stuff to my boss about once 3- 4 weeks, I usually find out the day before that it has to arrive tomorrow. So I put it in an envelope, (Yes I carry envelopes, and write the address on it every time) afix a stamp and drop it in the next pillar box I see, (not used the same pillar box more than twice) to date my boss has always got it the next day, I have had this boss for nearly 2 years.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

His mother :director:, wouldn't have let him forget - and he sent me a "Happy Father's Day" text this morning without any reminders. :-)

I was gonna say he might have not posted it but said he had once he realised he had fecked up!! Then JJ beat me to it.

Well, so it Father's Day. I did not accompany wife & kids to church today. But up till they left for service, no one told me happy Father's Day? So I went to the allotment to sulk. At midday, missus rang to say she is taking kids to visit her mother??? So when I returned home, I was on my own
They have now returned and just said HELLO??? Still no one has said anything? No happy Father's Day and no taking me out to dinner? I have had to prepare my own
Men will always be kids. Even after they have grown up, they keep trying to go back where they originally came from!

:dunno: last week the "Royal mail" misdelivered 2 letters to my address...one from the NHS, One from an Insurance company....

Both marked "Private and Confidential"

Both for the same recipient....

One on Tuesday the other on Friday........

I wonder where my bank statements are going..........

I once received a COURIERED passport dropped through my letterbox. It was for the same number property but one street over from where I lived!

I hand delivered it myself. Can you imagine the mischief someone could have had with that? :?
Don't take it personally......

Last year I watched the postman on his round. He delivered a couple of letters to my address. When I read the address, he'd got the numbers right, but the wrong street. I shouted him back and told him they were delivered to the wrong address. He asked me where the correct address was, I told him. He then proceeded round the square I live on, posting the wrong letters, then continued on his round. I know they were delivered wrongly as another neighbour came out after I'd told him. They must set dyslexic people on.
