Nottingham, it's Dottigub if you need to suck some Tunes.

See the post from "Red Mick" about 2/3ds down this page.

I drove home through this storm, http://www.weather-uk.com/hampstead/page3.html - I had a Mini-van at the time, Minis were renowned for failing in very wet weather because the distributor is right at the front behind the rad grille, I used to seal mine with a plasticky ignition sealer spray and it was fine but there were many very expensive cars conked out at the side of the road that evening.

Piddling down here at lunch time, along with lightning and some severe cracks of thunder (few cracks of thunder tonight), still more to come methinks, Woods at Kirrie hill felt like walking through the jungle and the grass was steaming just after the rain stopped.....hmmm not wholly sure that kirrie hill was NOT once a volcano.... :help: :help: :help: :help:

Had about 2 or 3 hours of sustained thunder and severe lightning (whole sky lit up, multiple forks and multiple simultaneous strikes, deafening cracks of thunder) last night and more seemingly on the way for Thursday or Friday night

It was meant to be here again for the next 2 days, but today has been tropical sunshine again - not sure they know what's going on. I know why though......I'm selling something that requires sunshine, which explains a lot. Been in the local ads, not a single peep of interest.
