Good afternoon gents
I would like some advice and guidance regarding the size of wall plugs to use for schrieber kitchen wall units of varying size, the screws that I have are 10x2.5inch and 10x3inch,the construction of the wall is breeze block with dot and dab so there is a small cavity behind the plasterboard.
the plugs that i was going for are Fischer UX6L Extra Long Universal Wall Plug, would they be ok,
any advice would be greatly appreciated ,regards Brian

you need for red plugs 1 1/2" in the plug plus the fitting size and a 6-6.5mm
for brown plugs its 1 3/4" and 7mm masonary drill

all this information is on the plastic holding the plugs together

suspect the screws you need will be nearer to 2"

scrub my comments i missed the fischer bit lol

cut the wall out where the brackets are going to be and fix a strip of plywood in the void and use 3"10s

I would recommend hammer in square anchors they are very good in d&b walls.
