I am new to the site and this is my first post so here goes.
I have 5 GX5.3 12v 50w lamps in my kitchen which are run from a transformer hidden somewhere under the bathroom floor by a builder. I want to use LED lamps instead but I don't know if I can fit them as a direct replacement or if I need a different transformer.
Any ideas?
Many thanks.

You can get some that are direct replacements as well as the now becoming more popular types which need their own transformer called a driver . Just make sure they are suitable for use with your existing set up and do not need anything extra.

If it isnt broke dont bloody touch it until it bloody well is and if it is broke then make drawing of the connections before you remove the broken one and replace with a new one LoL
