Selling AV stuff...grrr

Post by BillyGoat »

Why does nobody else seem to struggle selling stuff, yet I couldn't sell a bar of gold for a quid?

Anyone into home theatre/AV stuff?? Need to sell my old AV Receiver..... It's an Onkyo 875

Go on how much?

Surprised you're having trouble with that as its not even obsolete yet. Bit old but was ahead of its time.

I was hoping for around a couple of hundred, which is gutting as it was around 900 when it was new :cb :cb :cb

It's an amazing receiver, it really is. It does DTS-HD master audio (for blurays - the sound quality is crystal clear), it does upconversion from ALL sources (so connect your crappy Wii via composite, xbox from whatever) and it upconverts them all to 1080p ALL over 1 HDMI cable to the TV. That was the best bit.

I had about 8 sources and just 1 cable going to my TV from the amp. The upconvert was actually really nice.

It's a beast of an amp too, can easily drive just about anything you attach. Got origional box, remote, setup mic (for Oddesy), etc, etc)

Now, that is funny.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

Oscar Wilde once said "Arrgghh, I've stubbed my f**king toe again!!!", then he got a handyman in to re-hang the door the other way, thus alleviating the issue.

True story.

Me neither, and I don't care that I don't know. :B

I believe I may have a crystal set somewhere in the loft, anyone want to buy that, might still be able to pick up Radio Luxembourg on it.
One day it will all be firewood.
