A refurb job

Post by mailee »

I have just finished refurbishing this set of drawers for one of my customers.

It started out as a piece of utility furniture as supplied by the armed forces which had a Formica top and plain 'D' shaped handles. There were some deep scratches to the drawer fronts and it had lost it's lustre. i added an oak top at the customers request to match some of the bedroom furniture and re-veneered the drawer fronts. Finally I added some better handles and gave it a clear coat and a polish.
Never enough hours in the day!

i like that - I'm well into adapting and overhauling old pieces - I've built a collection of internal solid doors for making other things like blanket boxes and other small bits - nice work!
