cheap Dewalt batteries

Post by ultimatehandyman »

This is quite a good idea for cheap Dewalt batteries, but it could be designed a lot better so that you do not make your tool three inches bigger-

I like the idea though :thumbright:

i though they may be able to reduce the distance but no
i have just measured the connector on the ryobi which incidentaly will not fit in the dewalt "hole" as you would expect this just happens to be the same length as the dewalt battery

but i would be greatly interested to know if it would permit me to charge ryobi lion batts with a standard dewalt charger!!!

If the idea is to use Ryobi batteries instead of DeWalt, it is more likely that you would have a Ryobi charger

Also - IF you were on site say and needed to charge up another battery, you would have to buy another battery adapter to plug into the dewalt charger to then plug the Ryobi battery into that - I bet the adapter costs more then a Ryobi charger does
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
