DeWalt DE7023 Universal Stand review
The DeWalt DE7023 Universal leg Stand is the ideal stand for any Dewalt mitre saw. This stand has been very well designed and can be carried in the folded up position easily with one hand, although it does weigh about 30kg’s. The stand is made from aluminium and steel and can support a weight of up to 225kg’s.
The beam on the Dewalt 7023 is about 1.7 metres long and can be extended to 3.6 metres by extending the work stops.
Here you can see a 3.6m length of 8 inch * 2 inch timber, which is easily supported by one of the extending work stops/supports-
As well as being able to support all Dewalt mitre saws it can also be used for other machines such as an bench grinder, metal cutting chop saw or pillar drill (with some modifications) using the Dewalt 7025 brackets.
When not in use the Dewalt 7023 can easily be stored on a flat wall or on the side of a storage cupboard by making a simple bracket from a piece of unistrut
At about £150 it is not the cheapest mitre saw stand available, but it is definitely one of the best!

Re: DeWalt DE7023 Universal Stand review
I've had one of these stands for over 10 years and it's still going strong,it gets heavy abuse as well. It's paid for itself hundreds of times over. The only thing that mine needs is 4 rubber feet that went missing years ago!
Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.

Re: DeWalt DE7023 Universal Stand review
As soon as I got one big-all I wondered how I lived without it,very portable and built to last. A must for any joiner who has a mitre saw. I believe dewalt do a mini version as well with shorter beams.

Re: DeWalt DE7023 Universal Stand review
as an aside
if i had several tools to place on the stand i would use the one set off clip on brackets attach a bit off 12-25mm ply and with either locating holes or batons to accommodate the required tools
