DeWalt DE7025 mounting bracket review
The DeWalt DE7025 mounting brackets are needed in order to use machines with the Dewalt DE7023 universal mitre saw stand
At about £50 for a pair the The DeWalt DE7025 mounting brackets are not cheap but they are extremely good at what they do. Each bracket has long slots and is shipped with a variety of nuts and bolts which make it possible to fix almost any machine to the Dewalt 7023.
The well designed levers make adding or removing machines from the Dewalt 7023 leg stand a piece of cake-
A simple piece of unistrut fixed to the wall makes an handy bracket for holding machines that are fitted with the Dewalt 7025 Mounting brackets.
By making another bracket it is possible to hang machines on their side, such as this large Dewalt DWS780. This bracket is fixed to a sliding section that enables the saw to be hung on the bracket before sliding it under the work bench, then the work bench doors can be locked-
Although the mounting brackets are not cheap I already own three pairs and use these to fix various machines to the the Dewalt DE7023 universal mitre saw stand

have you worked out what the "ears " that look like they are for string or something similar on the face off the stand

I think you mean this-
If you do it is the positive stop so that you can lock the Dewalt DE7025 mounting bracket in one position on the Dewalt DE7023 stand to prevent your saw from moving

Re: DeWalt DE7025 mounting bracket review
Yes it is, but that is to prevent it from sliding up and down the aluminium profile which might cause problems on accurate cuts etc.
Once the brackets are fixed to the machine there is little chance of them moving on their own though, perhaps it should be used to wrap some string around instead

Re: DeWalt DE7025 mounting bracket review
Mine came with the brackets as well, shorter than those tho. I think you can get the stand and standard brackets for around 129 quid if you shop around.
Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.

Re: DeWalt DE7025 mounting bracket review
I bought the Dewalt mitre saw and leg stand together so the brackets came with one of the two items (probably the leg stand)
But they are so handy I have bought 3 more pairs, one for the bench grinder, one for the Dewalt metal cutting chop saw and one for the pillar drill. I'm also working on something else that will need another pair
