As some people will be aware due to my previous posts on the subject, the network problems on the EE network are major!

When I was with T mobile I never had any problems but since it became EE I have had nothing but problems, with calls being missed and text messages not arriving on my phone.

You would think that someone at EE would actually give a crap, but as this facebook advert shows, they just don't care!

Read the comments- not one good comment and nothing but unhappy customers-

I'm struggling to read between the lines here, are people unhappy with the service?

not sure how you can double the masts available and make the service worse??

4G ain't working properly for most networks right now & a lot of the time they have to drop back into 3G just to work however they do tend to lose some stuff in changing networks. The technology just ain't ready yet, buy yourself out of the contract or put up and shut up but, ain't gonna change any time soon, sorry I can't dress it up any better than that.

Vodaphone is no better, my iphone3 on EE gets better coverage than the work phone on vodaphone. Dropped calls, no network coverage hate to think what work we have missed out on.

Missis moved from O2 to Vodaphone for a great deal -it's SHOCKINGLY bad round this way. I stayed on O2 and can use my phone everywhere - I just leave my phone on as an AP for her to connect too all the time.

I think if I was changing network again, I'd get myself a PAYG SIM first and use it for a week or so in all the places I'd be using my phone before I commit to a new one. Although, saying that, I've been on a rolling monthly contract for about 2 years now...no thoughts of changing. I'm happy on my 21 quid a month.... :D

Not sure how much of this is true, but I have read reports that EE are removing masts to save money- hence the crap network coverage.

I'm not buying myself out of any contract!

I never signed a contract with EE. I have been with T mobile for about 8 years with no problems, then when they merge with Orange and change the name to EE I start to get problems.

I'm not on a 4G contract, I just want to be able to text and use my mobile like I have done for the last 10 years but these jokers are charging me £38 per month for a crap service

My girlfriend is on O2 and she does not have any problems with her iPhone.

It looks like EE are taking customers money and spending it on advertising instead of the network

I'm with O2 and I must say, with all of my travels across the UK and beyond, it's been FAR better than anything for me.

Saying that, my work phone is EE and it's never missed a beat too (Lumia 720) - even when I was up your way!

Have you got your new phone yet, perhaps the old one was faulty?

I have about 10 months left on the contract.

The first iPhone did go faulty, but now I have a brand new one and I am not receiving all text messages.

The other day I text a mate and never got a reply, when I saw him I asked if he got my text he confirmed he did and also replied but I never received the reply!

Angie also text me on the same night and I never received that text either

It was funny actually.

The text I did not receive was something about her friend making her own sausages.

I was at work the next day and checked my phone at break time and got a text from her asking where the money was for the sausages

I spent a couple of hours trying to decipher the text, until I spoke to her and then realised that she actually did want money for some sausages

I have heard nothing but negative things about EE.

Billy, funny you say that but I am with vodafone as they are the only provider who cover my home address and have never had issues with their coverage anywhere in the UK. I also find them very good at dealing with issues when you contact them.

I must be in the minority here but I moved over to t- mobile from O2 which was shocking and apart from a few hitches one weekend mine is spot on,no problems,fast browsing.

They have removed a lot of masts, where they have had t-mobile and orange masts in the same area, they have shut down the masts that were in competition (or in some cases the more valuable bit of land the mast sits on).

This causes issues where masts removed were in the middle of a mesh, it leaves a coverage hole in the middle. Most of the masts are also directional and where they have been removing masts, they have been repositioning the surrounding ones to cover holes and coverage gaps, usually resulting in areas of previous good coverage becoming average or poor.

The upgrades of masts to 4g is just causing more issues, on all networks -Vodafone has been just as crap recently.
