Plywood on concrete floor

Hi,

I removed the screed on my dining room floor as I want the floor to be the same level as my kitchen floor (it was previously 30mm higher).

Rather than screeding, I have considered laying a DPM on the concrete floor, laying thin insulation and then screwing plywood (using rawplugs) into the concrete. I think this will allow me to achieve a warmer finished floor at the same level as my kitchen?

Any thoughts please?

Thanks

If you need a DPM, the screws penetrating it will render it useless as a DPM.
