Just can't get my brain in gear, so jet lagged it's unreal.

Got back from a 5 day stint in the US and I just can't kick the lag! Going there isn't a problem, instantly join their time. Coming back always kills me. Last year it took me two weeks before I could peel myself out of bed without the missis having to kick me in the face everytime the 2 alarms went off.

Anyone got a holiday coming up they want me to go on

You have my sympathies BG. The US-UK route is a killer for jet lag. Any West-to-East flight crocks me. Glad I don't do the Korea trips any more.

Mondays are even worse when they come on a Tuesday: that's when my Monday is this week, (got to go and do some work tomorrow).

Had enough for today, just about to finish after playing catchup. So I've booked a day off tomorrow to spend with the wee man.

Might make Wednesday easier when I'm up at 5 to get to Reading.....oh the joys.

You are right though K_E, it's always West to East that hurts. Only trumped by a night time flight from South Africa to the UK......long flight, same damn timezone sucks ass.

Mondays are great it's technically half way through my week who's silly idea was it to start the working week on a Friday at my place

Monday mornings the worst of the week ,but monday evening often the best.Once the clock it's midday it's all down hill for me.No jet lag for me B.G. ,but especially grim morning today, got me planning happy hols. for sure.

I just realised that my year end is June and I've got 15 holiday days left......

Better get booking, I done this last year too and upset everyone. I've got lots of travel booked in too, so it's even worse!

First thing when you land eat the meal for the time of day where in the world you are, whether you're hungrey or not, its all about adjusting you body clock, works better than anything else I've tried.

I thought all builders knew the most important organ was the stomach.

Sadly I'm no builder, I'm actually a fraud. I do like breakfasts though (and every other meal). Perhaps it's the 12 meals a day where I've been going wrong?

My holiday year ends on March 31st and I've still got 7 days left to take. Will have a week off and let the company have the two odd days (or even book a Friday and Monday off for a long weekend)

I only did the Yarpy run once but I traveled first class that time and it really DOES make a difference - try it some time

I'm strictly cattle class when flying with work. Worked out I'll be silver BA in April though, so at least I'll get the lounge and free food
