if you can temporeraly clamp/screw the 2 halves together it will make life easier
because for example both halves can be sitting perfectly in the opening with equal 3mm gaps all the way round and between the top and bottom segment
but if the top of the door is just 4mm forward from plumb the the doors will tighten up and clash when open it can also cause bolt to tighten because the two halves of the door take a different arc
if its in place of a normal house front or rear door you will probably need a secure lock on each half [ask insurance requirements
if its an external door dont use the cheepo sulfolk latch from screwfix use the more expensive one

Is this before or after the horse has bolted.
I had a horse that wanted to be a blacksmith, every time he saw an open door he made a bolt for it?
The old ones are the best.

Someone ban him!

,well.....after speaking to the client they dont want to spend the cost of a stable door so its back to a solid or 1/2 glazed back door...

,Oh the joys of self employment!

I live on the outskirts of Titchfield, originally from good ol' Oggie Land (Cornwall).
Became interested in electrics when the farm where we lived on Bodmin moor could either have a tarmac road or electrics put in the house, nevertheless tarmac won.
I then got interested in this magic thing on the wall that lit the lamp which never needed oil put in it and didn't smell, and this was in the early 60's.
