My dining room floor is quarry tiled, these appear to be original (house built late 19th Century). Overall the tiles are in fair condition, but some have holes and chips of various sizes. I am looking for a suitable filler to repair the damage and will then try and match the repaired surface to the existing tile colour. Any advice please of what type of filler would best work in this situation?

This is just my personal opinion, but I think that the particular appearance and texture of old quarry tiles is going to be pretty hard to imitate with any kind of filler, and the end result would look better and more 'authentic' if you just replace the damaged tiles with some 'new-to-you' tiles - recovered quarry tiles are widely available from architectural salvage people - even if the colour is quite different, they'll still look more fitting than any filler. More work, of course!
