Thought i would share some of the work in the current new build we are doing.
The stair is made from 25mm mdf and 12mm ply and the stringers have been clad in oak ply to save the customer money.
My brother who i work with built this whilst ive been doing the doors/skirtings/facing etc.
Ive had to resize the photo's so dont know how the look as im on an iphone.

I've not got many pics of that build,a few of the roof and the kit. I used an app called image resizer,it's about a quid from iTunes. I've not totally Sussed it out yet but it's the only way I can upload photos on here.
Here it is with instructions

looks class. i once did a old staircase with hemlock newels, handrails and spindles. and got a hemlock veneer glued on the stringer. it looked pretty good in the end. though i dont think i have any pictures of it.
id love someone to say come to me and do something like what youve done

The last "Oak" staircase I fitted got taken out and chucked away.
Someone (either the builder [most likely] or the joinery shop) decided it didn't need to be Oak and made it out of something else.
When the owner saw it he queried what it was and told them he wanted it in Oak as specced, it wasn't unusual for him anyway - he was always changing finished stuff which
was right.
Here's the gash one, waiting for the glass balustrade (and a new Oak staircase to go with it).

excellent in my eyes anything less than 85mm is a bit crowded with 2 to a tread looking neatest
