Cordless grinder

Post by All The Gear »

I'm after a new cordless grinder. Got a big marble job coming up. Anyone own one they'd recommend?

I have an 18v Dewalt, it's good for quick jobs.

I also use an 18v Bosch on site, both of them eat batteries but with the new 4Ah Li-ion batteries they should last longer.

If you were using it regularly you would need a couple of batteries or you may end up waiting for one to charge up!

I have a Makita 18V which seems pretty good to me so far, but most of my use so far has been either cutting thin steel or thin tiles, but as above, batteries will be an issue for you by the sounds of it..
