Outside Security Light

Does anybody know where I can find a diagram on how to wire a PIR sensor to the main floodlight in my house.i have looked at most places.
Your help would be much appreciated.

The pir sensor should come with instructions??

What type of sensor is it?

The light fitting & sensor are aready there but not connected , i am looking to see which wire goes where,there is a 3 core wire coming from the mains & one from the sensor to the light.Any Ideas.i do not know what make it is , sorry.

look carefully in the pir. if the connections are not written on a sticky label by the connector blocks, try looking hard at the plastic to make sure it isn't moulded on it. failing that check the actual terminal blocks as they sometimes write it on the side of them.

if that doesn't help, take a picture of the insides and we can try from that.
