Silicone glueing to wall tiles (removably)

A friend of mine is moving into a tiny rent, where she is not allowed to drill the wall tiles in the bathroom. Space being a premium, it would be quite a waste to leave the lot of the wall unused.

Is it feasible to glue things to the wall tiles with silicone-based glues so that they can later, when she eventually moves out, be removed without leaving marks on the tiles?

The things she has in mind do not need to hold extreme amounts of weight or otherwise be subjected to excessive forces -- it's mostly like a towel hanger for maybe two towels, some spots to to which the tops of cabinets/shelves are attached to prevent them from tripping over and the like.

I pretty much think glueing metal plates to the tiles and fastening things to these will hold as much as they need to hold; question is - upon removing the plates and cleaning the glue residue, does it tend to discolour or otherwise leave marks on the tiles?

Being from Hungary, the primary glue I have in mind is called F.BS, which is one of these vinegar acid-solvent silicone glues. and is - in my experience - just as good in general as any silicone glue should be. There are no non-hungarian leaflets or MSDS that I can find.

Are there perhaps more appropriate tools and materials for this kind of fixings?

Safest thing to use is this product available in most DIY stores they hold pretty well and do remove without marking.

The Croydex range of semi permanent glue pad fittings or suction cups are worth a look http://www.croydex.com/category/9-semi- ... ories.aspx
