Cable Sky/NTL

Post by Sorren »

I am renting a flat (second floor).

Staff from Sky recently came by to install the dish so I can get cable. But when I called my landlord I was told that the sky people can not drill a hole in the wall for the cable. I wonder anybody knows if there are some device/component that I can use/attach to have my window open and put the cable through and somehow still keeping the heat inside the flat. Or is there any other alternative so I can prevent paying for any damages to the wall when I move out?

Regards
S

Why will your landlord not let them drill the wall? is it a listed building or his he just being funny?

I think you are struggling unles the landlord will let SKY drill the required holes.

Is your flat on ground level?
