Post by carlos 318is »

I will be tiling from floor to ceiling in my bathroom with a border tile at windowsill height from what I have worked out I am going to have to make a cut should this cut be at the ceiling or at the border tile (I think border tile) also from the border tile to bath I am need another cut about half a tile at the bath height will this be ok?

Ok I ain't a pro tiler, but I have done a fair bit and I would always try to get cut tiles out of direct view at an edge never alongside a feature like a decorative strip of tiles.

The cut would go against the bath and the ceiling - not by the border tile

Reason being you will slice your hand open everytime you touch the cut edge!!

Plus it'll look gash

The other problem I have is the border tiles are 7mm and my wall tiles are 6mm I take it you won't notice the difference
