I'm putting a new roof on the decking (4m x 4m) using 10mm twinwall poly and the appropriate glazing bars from 'The Polycarbonate Shop' online.
When I'm installing the poly into the glazing bars do I need to put anything like clear sealant or a petroleum jelly along the bars to help the seal? The glazing bars do have a rubber seal strip in them.
thepolycarbonateshop.co.uk is where I'm getting the materials from.

Re: Polycarbonate decking roof
My 20yr old 20mm poly roofed conservatory had no sealant but as with most rubber, I imagine a little watered down washing up liquid would make fitting easier.

i think the idea with the glazing bars is there is a gap to allow for thermal movement, and they do feckin move a lot in the heat of the summer
