Under £20!!
I've just bought an 18V 3Ahr clone Makita battery for under £20.
I've not been let down by any of the previous clones I have bought & used them on a daily basis.
I'll confirm the delivery time & how well it performs, so watch this space!!

Think they've sold-out of the 3Ah obnes, BG. I did see them last week - went to order a few yesterday and they were gone

Re: Under £20!!
Problem is that it looks like the 1.5ah batteries are not Makita Star rated so it's possible to overload / damage them I think this was also the problem with the earlier non-starred 3ah ones too.

Re: Under £20!!
Yep - Not kept in the cold (like a van, outside, etc). Don't wear them to dead, use them frequently. Don't leave them uncharged. Don't charge them when they are hot, after being used (if they ever were).
Similar to laptop batteries.
The first one just stopped - the chips saying it's goosed, so the charger is knackered. The second has just gone to utter sh*t.

Re: Under £20!!
Over a year Darren, so I doubt it very much - it was from Screwfix which would have made it much simpler (where I am, they just swap them no questions asked).
I had a NiCd model before that out performed it in just about every way. I've got other stuff that's never had an issue. Mentioned on the other thread that the father in law has had no end of grief with his (a stack of dead 3's), but he's a trade user of them unlike me.
