Hello, i'm new to this forum and i need some help. I recently fitted a second hand worcester bosch heatslave greenstar oil condensing combi. I had the burner set up by a pro and it works well. the problem is that i cannot get any central heating. The hot water works fine. It has a facia mounted programmer. The diverter valve is free to turn, i have changed the synchro motor and fitted a new pcb.Any ideas?
Cheers jp

Hi Jim, welcome to this excellent site!
I have exactly the same oil boiler as you. For some reason, my room thermostat stupidly works off two AAA batteries, and when these fail theres no heating, so we always have to have a supply of batteries in the house.
A bit of a long shot, but maybe yours is the same?

The room thermostat is certainly one of the first things to check. I'll have a wee look at a manual & get back to you for some other likely problems....... :thumbright:
Oh & welcome to the forum.....

Firstly we need to establish you're comfortable testing electrics & own a multimeter?
