Wood (Chipboard) Flooring - HELP !!!

Post by Enceem »

Hi to you all
Can anyone help-Ive been asked to lay chipboard in an old farmhouse cottage and the owner wants to retain the original first floor beams which have been treated and wire brushed. These beams are reasonably sound but their profile has been eroded in some cases.
Obviously I will need to pack these boards out for level, but any other advice ?

Ta :?

HI Enceem,

Not a lot really just make sure joints are glued and secure and screw the boards down.
If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments..
