Purchased a 'cheap' light fitting from a German supermarket - it has only one connector for L N & E. Three cables in lighting circuit 2no red,black & yellow/green & 1no blue, red & yellow/green.
How can I connect this fitting.
Help greatly appreciated.

I'm a bit confused here
?
Have you already removed the old light fitting?
When you say 3 cables do you mean 3 cables or 3 wires?
are you saying that you have-
1 red wire
1 black wire
2 wires that are green/yellow
?
if so the red goes to L
Black goes to N
and the two green/yellows E

I have removed the existing ceiling light.
there are three cables -
1 - red, black, green/yellow wires
2 - red, black, green/yellow wires
3 - red, blue, green/yellow wires

last thing you want to do is remove the old fitting before identifing the wires!!!
cable one
red perm live
black neutral
cable two
red perm live
black neutral
cable three
red perm live (to light switch)
black switch live (from light switch to bulb live, may have a red sleeve on it)
What you need to do is work out which cable is which... do you have a continity tester (buzzer)?

It is best to note where the wires come from before you remove them from the old light fitting.
Like Hinton Heating says a continuity tester would be really useful to sort out which wires are which.
