Im needing to but a new table saw for diy work and was set on buying the DW745 for €450, but then came across the DWE7491 on the same site then had a look at the videos of it on youtube and the advertising has sold me but im now scratching my head thinking is the extra €350 worth it if i wont be using it on site every day.
So for those who know about table saws, is this saw worth the extra 350. What can it do that the DW745 cant do which warrants the extra few quid.
You see, im getting the DW745 for free as a pressie from a family member who won few quid recently but wondering should i just upgrade it to the DWE7491 with my own money.
Dwe7491 or the dw745. Cant decided!!

I've looked at the specs and can't see that much difference TBH. Have you tried talking with the dealer or (possibly more productive) ringing DW at Slough?

the main one being the maximum rips when using the fence. 410mm as opposed to 825mm, slightly improved fence too and more powerful motor. But even with those improvments I can't see that adding up to the £350 extra.

Maybe it's a bit like the Makita MLT100 and the 2704 - the Japanese made 2704 is twice the price, but the spec isn't that much better? The difference is that the MLT100 is Chinese
