DeWalt DC 725 stuck on hammer action

I just went to use my DC 725 18volt drill and it is stuck on the hammer action. I can rotate the clutch collar but it's not coming off the hammer action.
Can I fix this or does it need to off for repair??

about Dewalt, but I had a similar problem with another drill-driver that sometimes stuck on hammer, I found that by changing to high from low or vice versa whilst simultaneously twisting off hammer action worked for me...
