Re: government funding schemes
How old is your house? What type of construction is it? Does it need cavity wall insulation?
Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.

Re: government funding schemes
If it was built 15 year ago in Scotland chances are it's timber framed and you wouldnt want to fill the cavity.

Re: government funding schemes
The outer walls are assumed to be of cavity brick/block construction with a facing brick and rendered finish externally.
that's a quote from the home report I still had saved on the laptop

Re: government funding schemes
It's a traditional build then and cavity wall insulation is fine
I just thought I'd mention the timber frame question as most houses are constructed this way now up here.
