Help with tiles spacing, grout & adhesive

Hi all,
Just about to re-tile our kitchen. Tiling onto plaster. Using white Metro tiles (Brick shaped, bevel edge, 20cm x 10cm).
What are peoples thoughts on the following little list please?
grout colour/make
adhesive
We only have a small area to do, around 2.75 sqm, so also wondering about tile spacer size.

I've always got on well with the Mapei products for adhesive and grout - 2mm spacers always go down well but 1.5's can look better on smaller tiles such as metro's.
