Wide Jaw Adjustable spanner
I bought & use this adjustable most days at work & found it a great wee tool for the Plumbing trade.
Cheap & well made its currently on Amazon for just over a fiver, so If your looking to enhance your Plumbing tool kit, fill your boots!!
Sorry I couldn't get a direct link to work.

I'll have to pop down Cupar high street at the weekend. I just googled amtec tools and the local nickel and dime shop is a stockist!

Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.

I use those ,red and black and the yellow handled little brother. I have 3 sets of the yellow ones, two of which I've shortened the handles for inside boilers
Bought all of them from toolmanyardley in birmingham

Re: Wide Jaw Adjustable spanner
I ordered mine last night, went for the full size as I rarely need a stubby wrench.

Re: Wide Jaw Adjustable spanner
If you treated yourself to a new spanner, and why not - you deserve it!!
Here's a couple of sizes to mark on the jaws if you're going to use it for compression fittings;
15mm = 23mm spanner
22mm = 32mm spanner
Easy eh 23 & 32........
These sizes will fit most cheapo new fittings & with a minor adjustment for others.

Re: Wide Jaw Adjustable spanner
The wee stubby one is also wide jaw, though it may not say it??!!
It'll comfortably do 15mm fittings(22mm at a push).
https://www.amtechtools.com/ProductDeta ... dref=C1680
And I paid £3.90 inc P+P
