Luxury Vinyl tiles in the bathroom

We have a sheet vinyl floor in our bathroom which the 'boss' wants changed to Limestone vinyl tiles. From what I have read once the sheet vinyl is removed, it needs 6mm WBP ply screwed at regular intervals. Special PS adhesive and then the tiles.
1) Do I need to put any DPM sheet under the ply?
2) Does the top of the ply need to sealed/feathered?
3) Are the vinyl design strips glued at the same time as the vinyl tiles or do use spacers and fill them later??
4) What colour grout strips look best with Limestone tiles?
5) The 'Boss' wants cream strips but I wonder whether the vinyl grout strips get dis-coloured just like normal grout??
Many thanks for answering the queries.

What's the sub-floor, chipboard/floorboards/concrete/ashpalt etc?

Yes. You'll need the use something like Ardex Feather or similar on all seams and screw/nail holes. Then it'll need rubbing down.

You'll glue the design strips as you go.

Personal choice really IMO. I'd say a darker grout to accentuate the tiles but you could perhaps go for a light grey :dunno: It would be worth getting samples if possible to help with the choice before you buy.

Depends on the usage. They will dis-colour over time and with it being a light grout strip, you may see dirt grab in the seams between the tiles and the grout. A slightly darker colour would help.

Wes,
Thanks for your reply. The sheet vinyl is on top of floor boards.
I had a look at Ardex feather finish, it seems to come only in bags of 11 kg. Is there any other alternative as it's only a small area.
I agree that grey would probably be better with limestone tiles as i was worried the light grout strips would get dirty.
Thanks again

Ultra floor patch it comes in 5kg bags.

Many thanks

No.

El-mag, as with all such products, they'll be instructions on application on the side of the tub/bag..
