I take it these don't turn on and off when you turn on the tool you're using?

Also seems a bit odd they picture their cyclone unit with this but in the description of the cyclone it states it isn't compatible with it.

I received mine today. The instructions are vague to say the least and there's little mention of the paper bag filter. When using it for dust extraction should I use the paper bag filter or not?

Looks like they've got them back in again. Anyone know the answers to the above questions?

I am sure it could be adapted to work with the cyclone, my shop van didn't fit at first so I made up some adaptors of my own and now it works a treat.
Regarding dust bags, yes you probably want to use them if you know you are going to be producing a lot of fine dust such as sanding, don't use it for general cleaning as any bits of metal, screws etc, will puncture the bag usually.

As an aside if you have a cyclone you should not need to use the filter bag at all. I used mine to sand several walls and the cyclone captures almost all the dust with the pleated filter in the shop vac catching the rest, this was easily washed afterwards.
