MEGA BARGAIN LED ALERT!!!

Post by BillyGoat »

Gents,

Get your bums to HomeBase and pick up some GU10 LED bulbs. Reduced from a silly 15 quid down to TWO POUNDS per set of 2, it's mental.

They have a range of:

4W = 35W
5W = 40/50

Cool and warm white. Think the others are on too. Most shops are not priced, but run through the till. I've got some 35 packs of 2, so I can replace everything.

Colourwise they are nice compared to halogen, but a little more directional.

This is ONE of them: http://www.homebase.co.uk/ProductDispla ... ogId=10011

Good luck!!!!

Grey Dimmable (1.93 per pack of two): http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk ... ack-274646

White 5W Dimmable 2 pack: http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk ... ack-274647

White 4W non-dimmable: http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk ... ack-194014

Check the stock in your local store. I couldn't reserve, but the levels were accurate. Surprised the girls in both stores - I reckon they went to nab them after they found out.

Wow, given how long those things last, that's a lifetime supply!

Sortof. I've got enough to do my house, the in-laws house and then the remaining ones will be used at the other house - the bulbs I HAD been using were almost 6 quid each. That's quite a saving when all said and done. Plus spares.

If I'd have been my brother, I'd have brought all 100 odd packs and had them on eBay by the afternoon, but I'm not like that.

That's a ballache! Had a look at my local walk-to store last night to see if there were any left, but it's stripped bare now or I'd have shipped you a box full.

Sure you can get them all at 10x the price on eBay though........ ::b
