I signed up for the emails from Lidl and Aldi a while back. Get them a few days before. They generally only send the notices of what "specials" are coming in the next week or so, without the spam you get from some companies.

I bought the inflater and blow gun kit to replace the one I have that is knackered. I also bought the sandblaster kit that I have no use for at the minute but I know it will come in useful at some point. All the other kit looks really good value and the compressor is a good deal too.

My 24l receiver won't be any good with any if these apart from the blowgun and tyre inflater. I'm thinking of adding an additional 24l receiver

Yes I have just used the waterpump pliers to replace a washing machine tap and the syphon wrench is good for waste traps if you are struggling to grip the nuts.
I am not sure about the corner pipe wrench, seems a bit weird to me.

I'm struggling a bit. I got the digital tyre inflater assuming that I can just remove the euro coupling on it and put my bayonet pcl couplings.

Well it turns out 1/4" hose means nothing and the two connectors have very different thread sizes. From what I rear the bayonet have 13mm thread and this Euro coupling has 11mm thread.

I have searched ebay for some sort of adapter but to no avail. ANy clues as to the keyword I need to search in order to get to the product I'm after?

Buy a Euro female with 1/4 BSP thread and a PCL Male with 1/4 BSP, fit the two together and you will have an adapter to suit.

It does make my tyre inflator quite expensive after all that - would be much better to just return it and buy a tyre inflater which has the PCL fitted. :(

Do you know if it'#s possible to buy a double male threaded adapters to do it? Most of these are looked at are BSP to BSP, which is not usable becuase the BSP and PCL seem to have quite different thread poattern - PCL having much bigger thread and more spaced apart.

If you have the adapter though you can then use it for any future tools as well. Most of my fittings are Euro, but I have a few that are some kind of odd Euro style but don't fit in a normal Euro. I made up an adapter and now I can use all my fittings easily and it was much cheaper than switching everything.

PCL is just the attachment end, the other end should be a standard BSP if marked as such unless you have some odd size fittings or maybe even metric?

I started changing the adapter on the Lidl / Aldi air tools and kit I bought, and then gave in and just bought a whip adapter with a PCL male on one end, and I put a Euro female on the other. It was cheap enough off eBay.
Last time I took any notice, the Lidl / Aldi air tools were 1/4" BSP. Sounds as if they might have changed.
If you go to one of those hydraulic and air specialist places they'll have fittings with every thread known. The one down here also had a minimum order the last time I went. "Trade only" sort of place. Can't remember but it wasn't that much so I just got some extra connectors.

I bought one of the needle scalers at Lidl the other day (for future use

) Also bought a couple of the swivel connectors that were on offer. They look as if they'll be useful.
One other thing. The non digital tyre inflator I have has developed a faulty zero on the gauge. The needle doesn't go back to the stop. Accurate enough still if you take the raised "zero" into account (ie subtract the amount it's reading at "zero"), as far as I can see compared with a couple of different tyre gauges.

Thanks, I'll have to use this method. I dont think a straight up nut adapter exists. Quite surprised by that.
