Have seen the thread on re-mapping a diesel engine but could I please ask:-
Can anyone advise me of someone, preferably in SW UK, who has the software and leads required to
alter the settings in the ECU of a mobility scooter?
Please note, I am NOT, repeat NOT, asking for someone to make it go faster than the legal limit.
Thank you, Pete.

Re: ECU mapping on Mobility Scooter ?
Hello bob225 is right in saying that it is a speed controller but it does a lot more than just control your speed it also controls your battery voltage/amps to the motor runs safety diagnostics operates the 24v electromagnetic brake to name just a few of it's functions as for programming it that depends again bob225 is correct make model and year would be helpful you would need the correct cable the software and a safeguard key only given to a trained technician from the control manufacturers
Without this key you can only change the bare minimum of of settings I can tell you this as I am a engineer within the mobility trade of some 18 years
