What is the cost for rebating?

Not entirely sure yet but I can see it being eye watering but we will see.

Been quoted £400 for a grove under the edges for LED lighting

Not saying a unit like the Neff is not going to last for ever and a rebate would be smart but models do change and a replacement might not just fit the same rebate and the accuracy would need to be exceptional whereas a standard hole can have quite a bit of tolerance.

Aero, i can see where your coming from , if that does happen i can think of several ways around that problem in the future including maybe a stainless trim/frame to sit a new hob into in the rebate or indeed on top.

So i think in the interest of design, form over function in the first instance we will go for a rebate, and hope nothing much happens in the near future , nothing ventured nothing gianed and all that.

I'm also rebating my Neff hob, but at least I'm only doing it in oak!
