A few problems with the forum
Hi all,
I'm having a few problems with the forum, and wondered if others had had the same or if it's all at my end.
I suddenly can't watch UHM DIY videos. I could a few days ago and now suddenly instead of the video there is a message that says I need flash player. The thing is I have the latest flash player(v19) installed and W7 with IE11. I DONT want Chrome(neither me or the Mrs get on with it)
I just wondered if you have updated the forum recently or any other users have reported the same problem?
Also, if I leave the forum and come back a SHORT while later(like seconds!) I need to log in again, where as before I would stay "logged in" for about 1/2 and hour, whether I was on the site or not. Has the log in time/edit time been shortened?
Please forgive me for posting here but there doesn't seem to be a "Site news/report problems" section. I would have reported this via the "contact us" form but after at least 20 attempts to read and enter the captcha code/s I gave up!
Thanks
Tim

Re: A few problems with the forum
Its ok here. Just looked at a UHM video no problem.
You may have what I have, I can't see the some of the buttons if I use this desktop, but if I use a laptop I can see them. why
I am also getting a message telling me to log in or register, I ignore it.........because I am logged in. I stay logged in for days / weeks no problem.
I am using firefox.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

I've not noticed any changes to the forum, I'm using IE and chrome..
Have you run a scan for any malware ? IE can be vulnerable ??

Re: A few problems with the forum
I just closed the forum on an IE tab and immediately re opened and it asked me to log in. I'm using a different computer to the one I was using when I started this thread, so I wonder if it's something on IE11?.
And I suddenly don't return to my last thread after posting. It used to happen automatically.

And now when I click on one of the emoticons on the left, I am logged out. Virus and malware check shows nothing.

"I can't seem to find my thanks button anymore"-(Quote button still still not working)
Mine is OK. Maybe it's not just me then.
