Thank you for adding me to your site.
I'm a self employed handyman who also does regular gardening work, house sitting and I look after a couples old shire horses a couple of days each week.
This past 2 months my work has included:
Removing anaglypter wallpaper and artex from the walls in a hallway, stairs, stairwell and landing before skimming, painting, making good various bits of wooden trim and putting up a roll of wallpaper.
Making a fake "olde worlde" cottage toilet door using a Suffolk latch and various other bits of black wrought iron door furniture.
Painting some items of furniture with Laura Ashley Dove Grey then scraping the pine worktop of one unit before applying Danish Oil (Jacobean Dark Oak). Not my taste but that's what the customer wanted.
Re roofing and painting a 6 x 8 shed.
Removing old waxy window frame sealant and re applying with brown silicone, replacing various bits of rotten frame with new hardwood, hardening the old then filling and painting.
Re glazed a couple of single windows and a back door.
I'm currently working on a front porch. The feet of the wooden pillars are rotten/damaged and the whole thing is getting a good rub down/harden/fill/paint etc.
Looking forward to learning a lot and sharing some too.
