Whilst browsing YouTube as you do I came across a cover of the Rolling Stones song Dead Flowers by the hugely underrated Frankie Miller and I've got to say his version IMO is better than the original.

Anybody else come across any songs where the cover version trumps the original??.

Katie Meluas cover of wonderful life trumps the original by Black as well IMO.

Allaniss Morrisette's cover of Seal's Crazy is quite a good cover

Quite possibly; I only heard it once and had to cover my ears before the DJ said who it was......

My all time favorite cover is Rod Stewart singing Etta James 'Id rather go blind'
First girlfriend breakup at about the same time it came out which kind of added to its impact..
