The curious tale of the accidental potato....

So I normally grow potatoes in potato grow bags.

Mixed results and so far I've had better results growing from left-over spuds from the supermarket rather than bought in seed potatoes.

Last years spent compost (After harvesting the spuds) was used to top up one of my raised vegetable beds...

As a result a few tiny (mm's) tubers must have found their way into plot..

So I had some "accidental potato" plants growing where they shouldn't.. today I cleared the bed and dug out one of the plants..
