When we had our garden landscaped. I asked for the washing line post to be taken out as it was unsightly
I dot really want another one out in if I can help it and was wondering if I can use one of the fence posts that have been concreted in?

Of course you can. You can buy retractable (Sp?) washing lines on a reel as well...

I have the reel. I was just meaning that if I tie the other end to the fence post instead of metal post....will the fence come down

Would that not depend on the weight of the washing (Wet washing is heavy) and how well the fence post is mounted?
Why not opt for a rotary washing line?

If the post has been concreted in properly it won't move under the weight of a bit of washing...

Agreed, but it also has at least one maybe two fence panels on it as well.

A 4x4 fence post concreted in 2 ft won't budge with some washing on it.

Fingers crossed then lol
It's a double line I have so I'll make sure to tie them off onto different posts

A prop is essential as it reduces the load at each end and also lifts the washing up avoiding the line sag.
We have a rotary line now that is kept in the garage when not in use.

My bachelor line and prop works good, even in hi winds, though the 5' bed sheets need doubling. And spot the immersion wrench, haha!
