depending on how long theyre at that price for i have a load of £10 off vouchers.
every single one thats in the van or lockups has been decorated by the Fuc$ing plasterers. the tw*ts.
so consequently nothing can be put on them without being covered in plaster dust

if anyone fancies it btw i got the £60 worth of vouchers by signing up for a screwfix account.
the prices are a bit mental like. i got a towel rad that is screwfix prices £99.99 at a plumbfix price of £77.77
but then other things remain the same price and other stuff has an uneven discount.
but still... sign up and get stuff for cheaper even if ya never used the account is canny

They won't give a trade account to joiners in my local branch, only a spark or plumber is deemed good enough

At my local SF it's says on the entrance 'plumbers and electricians only' Dunno why no other trades
Regarding the hop ups. Unless I'm mistaken the £20 one is only 10mm taller and .3kg heavier which is minimal for consideration in my opinion. Am I missing something?

I was a 128kg but down to only 119kg
They both can take 150kg so there's no difference their. The £20 one is slightly heavier but that and the 10mm seems to be the only difference. I've ordered 2 bu typically they are out of stock in Falkirk so i have to traipse to Cumbernauld.

Are the catches firm on these?
I found my £20 aldi special creates to much movement on the catch that you think the hopup is going to give way! I also have a £40 youngman which has far superior swing catches.

the lad who runs the accounts at south shields told me to come through to the plumbers special bit. then he said i was in often enough so it didnt matter. asked if i used plumbing stuff and i said sometimes. but mostly just general stuff whatever i really need on a given job. he said that was fine. he even let me used lapsed vouchers out of the pack of vouchers i got for signing up and the 10% off vouchers combined too for a larger order. cant really complain at all.
the lad who runs it is even a mackem and he still let me. maybe its just how it is. sometimes when you go to various different branches of shops in the same company you find some are good craik and some are all staffed by miseries. the opposite has happened at my local howdens. all the good lads have left. now its just clueless people.

But the additional discounts are only on plumbing and electrical items. There is no better pricing on tools, screws, hardware, etc
