Hi all.

B&M bargains have some Stanley Dynagrip paint brushes in again. Set of the usual 3(1", 1.5" and 2")for £4.99.
I got a 3" one tonight( I want to do a couple of doors over half term) £3.99.
I got one of these free from Toolstation a couple of years ago and I love it.
They have nice long artificial bristles, hold their shape well and clean up splendidly. Final finish is good to due to some nice feathering of the bristles. They are quite stiff( so can be a bit "flicky" with thin/watered emulsions) but great for OB gloss and varnishes etc. I haven't as yet lost any bristles either.

In short good general purpose brushes-a bit too good to throw away!!

I also picked one up at toolstation when they were free, I have to say I have not used it yet, glad to hear it's good though.

Yeah, I think they're good for the money. Well the money I paid anyway!

As a further to this thread, I used a 3" one of these for cutting in a ceiling a few days ago. The relatively stiff bristles were excellent at pushing round the Crown Acrylic eggshell.
