This chainsaw is a good deal http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p40092? ... hain%20saw

Always handy to have a chainsaw. I have cut down oak boards into more manageable pieces quite apart from the conventional uses. I also cut birds mouths in fence posts for some knee fencing I put in. Mrs D thinks I am a menace with a chainsaw.

it is not a bad saw I got it a couple of months ago for £100 from a local company and used to cut a couple of small trees back. I keep eyeing up a tree around my sisters that i say needs cutting back she wont let me near it though

Hi,

Thanks DWD. As you say a chainsaw is very handy to have. I bought my 20" Timber Wolf petrol chainsaw a few years ago and it's been brilliant doing lots of heavy cutting for me and it's still in good condition. Clean fuel and decent chain oil ensures longevity. :thumbleft:

Kind regards, Col.

not bad for the money - and it comes with a half decent chain and bar (Oregon)

Just replaced the bar and chain on my electric saw (Worx WG-303e) with Oregon parts that was £30 odd alone (winter clean, lube and service)

Just had a look see WG-303e in wickes £49.95 bargain mine was a £130 4 years ago
