Hello everyone,
My wife and I bought a new build recently that's require a lot of work. One of the jobs that I'm about to face is downstairs floor heating and tiles which my wife picked up (300mm x 900mm).
The difference in downstairs concrete floor level is about 20 mm. I am cladder and it would be my first tiles ever. What steps would you suggest in order to install an electric floor heating mats, level the surface and putting the tiles. I would appreciate for any advice.
Thanks,
Marek

Re: Floor heating, level, tiles
Is there insulation under the concrete (I imagine there is as it is a new build)?
I would do a rough clean up, Hoover and wash. Then place the mats. Once their glue has cured, cover with a self leveling underlay, then tile.
